What is your shipping policy?


We ship domestic retail orders 1-2 business days after an order is placed. Wholesale orders ship anywhere from 1-10 business days after order is placed. Most wholesale orders are made-to-order. Priority Mail is typically delivered within 1-3 business days while USPS First class usually takes 2-5 business days. FedEx Ground usually takes 1-5 business days. You should receive a shipping notification with tracking information once your order leaves our studio. Please let us know if you'd like your order expedited and we will try our best to do so!



We send most international packages via First Class International Mail, which doesn't include features such as tracking information or delivery confirmation. Shipping times vary depending on location, time of year and local postal service. On average, orders should arrive in 2-4 weeks.

International packages may be subject to customs, duties or other fees that are calculated by country. The customer is responsible for paying any and all customs duties and fees. International packages may be delayed by customs. Unfortunately, Moondust Luminaries has no control over these circumstances. 



The mail services sometimes loses packages or they can be delayed. If a package is deemed to be lost by the mail service, we can send a replacement or refund the order. 

If a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by customer, then we will wait for the package to be returned to us to resend the order. No refunds will be given for incorrect address errors. 


Can I return or Exchange an item?

At Moondust Luminaries, all of our products are carefully inspected before they are shipped. Due to the nature of our products, used candles cannot be returned or refunded. However, we will replace or refund products damaged during shipment if photographic proof of damage is submitted to us within 7 days of delivery.

You may also exchange your product for another candle of the same size and price within 14 days of purchase. The buyer is responsible for shipping cost on all return items.

In the event the package is damaged during shipping you may return your unused candle(s) for a full refund of your purchase price, less shipping and handling within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us at hello@moondustla.com for further details.

Can i send a gift to someone?

Of course! We can always include a hand-written gift message in any order, free of charge.  If you're looking for something extra special, we also offer beautiful gift wrapping on any order.  Simply add our "Gift Wrap" option to your cart from the main shopping page.  If you are ordering multiple gifts & would like them each separately gift wrapped, please add additional "Gift Wrapping" selections to your cart.  You can add a note in the checkout page and let us know which items you want grouped together for each gift box.


Can my candle jar/tin be re-purposed?

Absolutely! We've designed our jars and tins to be minimal & well-edited, so they can fit into any setting.  We've used ours to hold makeup brushes, gather items on our desk , and even to display some of our favorite crystals. The possibilities are endless and we 100% encourage you to reuse your candle containers & give them a second life.
